A~ APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF T~HE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET
FOR ~I~E. FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ~OCTOBER 1, 1973
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER ~30, 1974.
WHEREAS, the City Cha~ter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Floridat requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the
City Council ~f ~said Municipality each year, adopting a budget
showing revenue of the City from all sources and the estimated
expenditures to the various purposes

for the ensuing fiscal
IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
~ction 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuing
fiscal year previously prepared by the City Manager now on file
in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Floridat be and
the same is hereby adopted for the fiscal year of said Munici-
pality beginning October 1, 1973 and ending September 30, 1974,
pursuant to amd in compliance with the provisions of Section 28
and Section 84 of the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beacha
Florida, said budget being made a pmrt hereof by reference:
Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$4~618,768.00 to the General Fund for the payment of operating
expenses and necessary capital outlay for the City government
pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
Section 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$8,472.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt
service for the purpose of paying the interest~ principal and
reserve due on the general obligation bonds of the City not
subject to s~atutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds
as they mature°

Section 4: That there is her by appropriated the sum of
$1~455,126.00 to the Water Utility Fund and Se~er utility Fund
for operating expenses and neCessary capital outlay for the
.municipal water ~and sewer departments°
~: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$572~117o00 to the Interest .and Sinking Fund of the combined
municipal water and sewer departments for the general debt servi¢
for the purpose of paying interest due on the bonds of said
departments'and for redeeming such bonds ~as they mature, and
for payment of outstan~ding developer's refunding agreements.
Section 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$17~..200o00 to the Community Promotion Fund for the payment of
operating expense pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
~: That this-Ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of
the City of Boynton Beach,. Florida~ in such case made and pro-
