A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, IN
SUPPORT OF THE THIRTEEN APPLICATIONS
WHICH PALM BEACH COUNTY HAS PENDING
BEFORE THE STATE CONSERVATION AND
RECREATIONAL LANDS (CARL) PROGRAM; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
W~EREA$, on March 12, 1991, Palm Beach County residents
voted overwhelmingly to approve a $100 million bond
referendum for the purchase of environmentally sensitive
lands~ and
W~EREAS, these funds will be a key element in obtaining
matching state funds to purchase the highest-quality natural
areas remaining in Palm Beach County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida supports the thirteen (13)
applications which Palm Beach County has pending before the
State Conservation and Recreational Lands (CARL) Program, as
follows:

Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000; and to the Board of
Commissioners, Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 3.
This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
