A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZTNG AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CERTAIN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE VI~LLAGE OF
GOLF; A COPY OF SAID AGREEMENT BEING
ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
f the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, that:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby

of Golf, for the purpose of providing orderly and efficient

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this __]~g_thday of D~mher ,
1990, .by and between the CITY OF BOYNTON BEAGH, Florida, a
municipal corporation, and the VILLAGE OF GOLF, a municipal
corporation, Palm Beach County, Florida.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach (hereinafter called
CITY) and the Village of Golf (hereinafter called VILLAGE)
do hereby desire to clarify certain issues regarding water
and sewer service to various parcels of land and related
issues, so as to provide orderly and efficient service to
their respective service areas and their customers.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual
representations, terms and covenants hereinafter set forth,
the parties hereto, hereby agree as follows:
1. The CITY agrees to be the service provider (water
and sewer) for that tract of land hereinafter described:
A tract of land described in Exhibit ,B- attached
hereto.
2. The VILLAGE agrees to be the water and service
provider for that tract of land hereinafter described:
"Indian Spring, Parcel 8", more particularly
described on attached Exhibit "A".
3. The VILLAGE hereby consents to a grant of easement
to the CITY to install and operate a proposed water main
(within the Woolbright Road right-of-way) from the CITY
limits to Military Trail and thence southerly along Military
Trail to point of interconnect with existing CITY water
lines. The VILLAGE agrees to execute and record perpetual
easements or consents to easements from controlling third
parties in favor of the CITY to facilitate the necessary
utilities described herein.
4. The CITY shall, following acquisition of all
easements and right-of-ways, construct a water main along
Woolbright Road through the VILLAGE service area from the
CITY limits to Military Trail and thence southerly along
Military Trail toga point of interconnect with existing CITY
water lines. Construction of said main shall have no effect
on the existing service areas of either party as amended by
the agreement in Section 1 above.
5. The CITY 'hereby agrees to establish a two-way
connection with the VILLAGE's water distribution system so
that water can be used by both parties on an emergency
basis.
6. The CITY agrees to allow the VILLAGE to provide
water and sewer service to a parcel of land outside of the
corporate limits of the VILLAGE and more particularly
described on Exhibit "C". The providing of water and sewer
services to parcel "C" shall be on an interim basis and
shall cease at such time as the CITY provides water and
service lines directly to the land described in Exhibit "C".
