Proposed new South T~act fo~ Leisureville presented to The Board. ~ous requested changes have been ~ed. Lots on ~23~Avenue have been changed TO 75' frontage, as pe~ r~quest. Planting buffer strips added on both sides of 15th Avenue. Sidewalks TO be installed on all dedicated streets. Recreation area has been enlarged. Church site has been set aside fo~ use. By doing these item, density has been decreased by 100, compared to first plan shown. T~affic into iSth Avenue has been dec~eased. Motel area shown, as requested. Caldos states that homes sold to date are averaging between $14,000.00 to $15,000.00 and that most sold are larger models. Caldos requests that rezoniug be Ez'anted by the Board on Tract, as shown. MP.-Allen is of opinion that lots backing on 15th Avenue would be un- desirable as this will be a future main entry into Boynton. M~. Cloutier co,curs in this opinion. Board discussed various: mmthods of tmeating space along 15th Avenue, includ_~ng hedges, planting, parallel street planning, etc. Decided it would not be desirable to face houses toward 15th Avenue, as tmaffic flow would be impaired. Fur~, undesirable, as it is doubtful if County would approve such a plan. I'ENtE"ES - SPECYAL ~ P~G g ZONING BOA.I~ PARCH 19, 1969 The Board suggested that lots om Sou~h side of 15th Avenue he increased by 10' in width and apartments be built om North side of 15th Avenue. Further suggested that trailer parking area on 15th Avenue be screened and entrance and exit be changed to keep traffic from 15th Avenue, The same suggestion to apply to the proposed boat ramp on 15th Avenue. Mr. Eebarte, from Caldos, requested That he he allc~ed ~o check wi~h his sales manager on the ~t suggestion on ISth Avenue De ,re oozm~ung himself. Further, Board asked that design of apartmmnts be such that They would not be in a straight line on the layout. Mr. Cloutier made a motion that the c~ncept presented on The South Tract, with the exception of area along 15Th Avenue, be approved for zoning and Special Exception. MoTion seconded by MaeAlpine. Carried by all Board then decided to change regular meetfng day to the last Monday in each me,nth in order to meet before the City Council, as many zoning requests are being advertised at same time as Council advertise.
