Pursuant to Florida Statute, all orders are appealable to the Circuit Court in Florida and the City Commission. Also, that a fine will be imposed if the violation(s) are not corrected by the deadline. II. Officer Hill presented the case. This was a routine inspection. Initial inspection date March 24, 2021. Property cited for the following; occupying two bays without a valid business tax receipt, trees and bushes overgrown on sidewalks, removal of all outside storage, removal of all trash and debris, including car parts, parking lot area needs to be cleaned and restriped, dumpster needs to be repaired and area needs to be free of all loose trash. Prohibited car repairs must stop immediately. Initial notice issued March 30, 2021, with fifteen (15)days to comply. Date noticed certified mail, April 23, 2021. Officer Hill has spoken to property owner and explained how to comply. Officer Hill has been called out numerous times by the police department. Property last inspected on May 18, 2021. This is a health and safety hazard due to the amount of trash and debris and parked cars blocking vehicles and emergency vehicles. City recommends a seize and desist order of all vehicle repairs and storage out of the bays and be in compliance by July 19, 2021 or $250 per occurrence. All other violations, City recommends be in compliance by July 19, 2021 or$500 a day assessed, plus administrative fee of$384.12. Property owner has made some improvements. Cem Ekmekci, Property Owner, stated the tenants were causing the majority of violations and he has started the eviction process. This was a routine inspection. Initial inspection date April 7, 2020, with thirty (30) days to comply. Not a repeat violator. Date notice sent certified mail April 12, 2021. Property last inspected May 4, 2021, fire code violations still exist. This is a health and safety hazard. Initial inspection date January 18, 2021, with fifteen (15) days to comply. Not a repeat violator. Property cited for parking a boat trailer in right-of-way of driveway or other hard surfaces and not stored on property. Date notice sent certified mail April 1, 2021. The property owner moved the boat out of the right-of-way, violation still exist as boat needs to be stored on the property, on a hard surface. This violation was a health and safety hazard, but is no longer a health and safety hazard, as boat is being parked on property. City recommended property to be in compliance by June 19, 2021, or $25 a day assessed, plus administrative fee of $384.12. Alexander Bonilla, Property Owner, stated the boat has been moved onto the property and placed on pavers. Officer Weixler stated this was not in compliance. Property owner needs to obtain a building permit for installation of hard surface and hard surface must be the length of the boat, with the proper setbacks. City recommended $100 fine, pursuant of City ordinance, plus administrative fee of$384.12. Ricky Norfus, Property Owner, stated this was not his vehicle and did not know the owner of the vehicle. Mr. Norfus stated the property is vacant right now, as he awaits permits to move into property.
