Mr. Olds Called the special meeting of the Planning & Zoning Board to order.;at '7:30
Motion was made by Mrs. Moore to approve the minutes of May 15th as written, seconded
by Mr. Weaver, all in favor, motion carried. ~-~ ~.
This meeting was called to discuss the proposed changes m~de in the Zoning 'Ordinance
mn May 1Sth and to determine if &ny additional changes were necessary.
Mr. Ayers brought to the attention of the Board that Dr. Kiska was waiting 'for action
on his plans under Conditional use. The Board said no one had seen the plans as yet.
Mr. Barrett brought out his copy of the plan and ~aid the original plans were in the
City Clerks' office and notice of conditional use had to be advertised. The Board
questioned whether this was legal or not. Mr. Barrett was to find out and see if it
could be put on the agenda for June 5, 1972.
The plans were for an.office for his use, on S. W. 27th Avenue and S. Seacrest~-
The Board gave approval of the preliminary plans and'suggested that it be put on the
agenda for Monday night.
Mr. Largent questioned conditional use and asked for an explanation of this ~phrase.
Much discussion ensued regarding this.
5ir. Weaver made a motion that preliminary approval be given these plans, pending the
opinion of the City Attorney whether we can give ~thiS without advertising before final
approval. Seconded by Mr.. Kostner, ail voted aye.
The following changes in the present ordinance; were were presented to read as
follows:
page 11 A. 1. Any use permitted in the R-3 District except
any type dwelling unit.

Mr. Largent presented Site Plan for Mr. Tony Pogozelski for 12 - 2 bedroom apartments
2 - 1 bedroom apartments
on S. E. 3 Street between S. E. 20th Court and S. E. 21 Avenue.
Copies were sent to City Engineer, Fire Dept. Department of Public Works and Building
Department, by Mr. Largent for their comments 'and requirements.
Aimotion made by Mr'. Ayers that changes as stated above be recommended to the City
Council as an amendment to Ordinance 62-9, seconded by Mrs. Moore all voted aye
motion carried.
