Fuller, Building Official Mr. Olds called the meeting to order at 3:35 P.M. }lt, Largent stated that Council wants an answer on this for tonights Council meeting, Palm Beach County is trying to get a .omprehensive Land Use ~.~p for the unincorporated lands. }4r. VmIntyre has requested that the City cooperate with the County and have a moratorium, on mention and zoning for ,one year. Mr. ~eaver stated that we have tried to plan Boynton Beach to be a part of Palm Beach County, not something that would not fit. It has been practically impossible to find out what the County is planning. ¥'te should do our a~n plsrming. If we don't annex then we don't have the right to tell them how to zone, We can only tell them to pay for water and se~er. ~is would mean sei~ing back and waiting to see what the County is going to do before we do anything. I~e should not give sewer and water without annexation. ~. Ayers stated that none of their options meets the needs of the City of Boynton Beach. ~ir. Ayers moved to recc~mend to the City Council that any development ~b.i~h is for the betterment of Boynton Beach should be considered for annexation by the Planning ~ Zoning Board and the City Council, seconded by ~,~. greaver. ~otion carried 7-0. Mr. Ayers then moved to reco~end that we 'avor cooperating wifl~ the County in so far as possible and that [,~. Largent be designated to meet with the Land Use Advisory Board, seconded by ~2. Kostner. ~4otion carried 7-0. I,~r. Largent gave each member a copy of Technical ~!~mo No. 4 from Candueb Fleissig and Assoicates. Approval of Plans 1. Plumbing office and warehouse, John Archie - 621 Industrial Ave. The Board reviewed the plans for the plumbing office and shop on Industrial Avenue. Felt it was a good plan. -2 Planning ~ Zoning Board Special k?~etiug Held at City Hall 3-21-72 2. Schoenfelt - Apartment - 2215 -' 2216 S. E. 4 Street The Board had previously reviewed these plans. N.r. ~ttalker moved that the plans be app~ed, seconded by Mr. Kostner. }:lotion carried 7-0. 5. Muro - 205N. E. 5 Street ~v.~r. ~falker moved that the plans be approved, seconded bM Mr. Ewing. Motion carried 7-0. 4. Bodzo - Apartment - 2861 S. Seacrest }~'~r. Ayers moved ~e plans be approved subject to engineering approval on drainage sewers and water, seconded by ~-k.
