Walker Chairman called meeting to order at 7:30 P..~% Board went over minutes from meeting of October 27 in order to make ~tions. Parcel # 1 N. 30' of Lot 132 and S. 40' of Lot 135, BlockA BoMnton Hills, Recorded in Plat Book 4 Page 51 Palm Beach County R~cords Request: R-2 to C-1 Address: 401 N. Seacrest Blvd. Applicant: ~-~ristine T. Allen Use - 2 Chair Barbershop to be placed in the carport are~ of the h~ne. Proposed zoning m~p shows this area as C-1 office, with site plan approval. Board does not want to set a precedent against proposed zoning. Further, this would constitute spot zoning for this request. Parcel # 2 Lots 20 and 21 Block 1, Boynton Place, Recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 40, Palm Beach County Records Red, est: R-2 to R-3A Address: 615 and 619 N. E. 7 Avenue Applicant: ~r. James Robert Patterson Use - 2 Additional Apartments During the discussion ~,k. Ayers had asked ~r. Patterson if he objected to the R-3 zoning during the Public Hearings as it would create a traffic hazard. He had so objected. ~otionmadeby~.(m. 27, 1971, meeting. meeting voted aye. Ayers to enter the above facts in the n~nutes of the October ~btion seconded by Mr. Brull. ~ll present at subject ~. Weaver was not present at subject meeting and abstained. Dr. Pmborn made a motion to apologize to Council for omission of pertinent remarks made during recent meetings. He stated that it is virtually impossible to keep track of all remarks made, under present conditions, and suitable recording equipment would prevent this occuring. He would appreciate Council furnishing new equipment for the use of all Boards and especially for use of this Board. ~.~eting of the Planning ~ Zoning Board Workshop ~eting 11-10-7t .Requests that the above be made into a letter to Cottucil from this Board. This motion seconded by ~'~. Ayers and carried 6-0 in favor. Chairman to send su~! letter. Board then continued to go over proposed ordinance page by page from the point ~ere it had stopped at the last~meeting. Board had ranch discussion on parking, setbacks, yards, etc., in commercial zones.
