~. Ayers moved that the min~es of the previous meeting be accepted as written
seconded by ~r. Olds. ~4otion carried.
Old Business
Approval of Shell Oil Station
This was discussed at previous workshop meetings and the final site plans for the
entire prSject are submitted. Everything conforms to what was asked by the BoarcL
Landscape exceeds the 5% that is required.
Representatives of Shell Oil were present. The station is to be located at
Congress Avenue and Boynton Road on the north west corner.
Mr. Olds moved that the plan of Shell Oil be accepted as presented and ~d
over to the City Council for final approval, seconded by ~. Ayers, ~otion
carried 7-0.

Mr. Berry was present and explained the apartment project. It /s an ~A loan type
committm'ent. It will contain 80 units - 34 one bedroom, 36 two bedroom, and 10 "~:':
three bedrooms. It will be m,./ddle income range. About 14.6 coverage per acre,
Putting in a recreation area and pool. Two story building, they will be 10
buildings 8 units per building.
There was a large number in attendance from Leisureville to .~.jeCt fl~e request £or
change in zoning, Maynard ~lertz represented the group. A petition was prepared
65 signatures which was not presented at this time due to errors caused by the
advertising.
~.~. ~dertz stated that there are single £amily h~nes surrounding this area, there
is no pride in o~nership for rental _apartments. ~xey are not kept up, On behal£
o£ the petition ¥~. Wertz requested that the request be denied.
Mr. Sarno asked i£ there are any apartments in Leisureville £or rent?
I,~¢. Vastine stated that there are not ~n¥ an/ those that are subleased.

agree with him 100 per cent.
It was suggested that more infonmtion be provided by ~,¥. Berry be£ore any action
is taken.
Dr, labom roved to table this item until the next regular meeting, seconded by

Mr. Perrin represented Peninsular prOPerties Inc. It will be a single story
building with four (4) units.
Mr. Robert Hverett would like for .it to remain R-1AA for his protection. He
lives on S. E. 27 Avenue.
Mr. Albert McGregor 2897 S. E. 1st Place. Mr.. McGregor is opposed to the change.
They have not proposed to open 26th Avenue to Seacrest Blvd. to relieve the
traffic
Mr. Parrin stated that it is being discussed with the' City and nothing has been
decided.
Mrs. Rohrbough 2857 S. H. 1st Place wanted to know what would keep them from
building two story apartments. She opposed the change in zoning.
Mr. Sarno handed, the gavel to Mr l Olds and moved,that-the request be denied, seconded
by Mr. Weaver. Motion carried:7-O. - ~ .... ~: ~
It was suggested by a member of the Board that a letter be written to the City Council
noting that 26th Avenue is not complete and should be completed to Seacrest Blvd, at
the earliest possible date. All members agreed and instructed Chairman to write
such a letter.
