In R-2 zoning for each unit on the first floor you would need total square
footage of 2500 feet on first floor, second floor 1500 sguare feet. Also
a variance would be needed on the 50 foot lot frontage. IgCottnctl approves
the zoning change then it will be necessary to go before the Board of
Adjustment for a variance.
It was stated that the people are not being given enough guidance before
appearing before the Board. It was suggested tb~at each applicant be
requested to purchase a copy of the Zoning Ordinance to study before
coming before the Board.
The zoning change could not pass for 4 units even with the variance,
because of the parking spaces needed.
Mr. ~-~onc~r agreed to 3 units and exclude the efficiency~ 3 units first
floor~nosecond floor~ requiring 5 parking spaces.
