Mr. Sarno read Ordinance ~ 71-1, repealing Ord. #61-3 and 70-3, creating a new Planning and Zoning Board. MD. Safco read the minutes of January 18th, D~. Raborn moved to aocept the minutes as read, seconded by P~. Olds. ¥otion carted 7-0. Each member takes a field trip for anything that comes before the Board to beene familiar with the anea pretaining to the zoning request. The individual applying for the request will come up_ and present side of stozy. Then the individuals for or against the request will have a chance to speak. Gooley asked what is to stop the warehouse fzc~u~ bringing in big vans. Hr. C~rdon stated that it is only storage lockers, there will be no manufact~. Mr$~B~ll{~. Jurkg stated she has three childr~. Trucks going to and from the warehouse would, oa~e prgblens. ¥~s. Wiliams stated that it would defir-~tely not be au asset to the children having all the traffic caused by the warehouse. Hr. Freitag stated that the people have been tryi~.g to build up the neigh. Who knows what hours and what trud~ would be ocmung through. He has seven children and w~uld be might across the street. ~A~s:. Rodriques agrees with P~e. Frei~ag. Peopl~ have made additions to their hc~es. She is against the request and so are a lot of other people. Gordon withdrew the applicatic~ for the wa~louse, due to all the people that objected to it. He does ~hink that somelnhing should be d~ne with this land. is tax~Dle but no saleable. It Mn. Sarno will get in touch with the City Attorney to see if he will have to wait the eighteen (18) months before reapplying. Hr. Gordon will be iu contact with ~. Sheer and get in touch with City Authorities for' ways this 1~4 can be circumvented.
