The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:~0 p.m. w~th
about 16 persons present im the audience.

E 65' of S 200' of Lot 29 and the S 408.66' of
W 208.66~ of Lot 28, Sec. 20-29, Township 45,
Range 45.

Mr. Zompa, was present and told the Board that
he desired in order to construct three apart-
ment ~uildings containing twelve, two-bedroom u~its each. Mr. Paul
McBride spoke in favor of granting the chauge in zonimg~
In oD~ection Mr. Nearer read a petition addressed to the Board
signed by approximately ~7 personS, representing abo~t half that
number of households. Many of the petitioners were present in the
audlenee and voiced strong ob~ectimOn to the change im zoning.
After considerable discussion, Mr, Effron stated that this
case appeared to be a clear case of spot zoning and made a motion
that the Board recommend to the Council that the request be denied.
~r. Wertz seconded.mMOtion carried 6-0.

Mr. Weaver ~ead three letters from surrounding, residents
objecting to the requested change in zoning. They were from:

Mr. Ha~ee told the Boarder.hat he desired to enclose two exist-
ing garage spaces to make. two additional apartments and to install a
pool in the fUtUre. There already existed on~ his property seven
~tment units which made it a non-conforming usage. Unless the
zonlngwas changed to R-~, he could not enclose the carports or
build a pool. The pool would have to be built by commercial speci-
fications~ Dr. Ramtston moved-that the Board-recommend that the
change in'zoning be granted from R-I to R-t, which_wout~make the
existing units emnforming. ~r~ Keatts seconded. ~der discussion,

Mr. Ner~z moved that the Board recommend that Mr. Hangge be

to all building code requirements, D~. Raulston seconded the mo-
