The meeting called for the purpose of considering means of re-zoning certain
areas in the Northeast sec~ion of the City to R-1 aud R-lA from lower class/fi.
cations, in order to upgrade them for future use was called Go order by the
Chairman.
~e Director of Plannln~ and Zoning outlined ~he areas in consideration on
a plat. I~ was e~lained to ~he B~ard m~bers presen~ ~hat a~ a reeen~ meeting
of ~he Inter-Ra~fal ~o~ttee a request had been ~de fo~ this acti~m and also
for cond~ation ~f unfi~ property and general cleanup of the area.
~e Board generally discussed the areas available for up-zoning and the
existing st~a~res ~hereon. ~ter ~msiderable discussion i~ was ~ved by
Dr. Rauls~on ~hat the Engineering Department ~f ~he City be instructed to under.
