Mr.~.'Ryd moved, Mr. Olds seconded that the Minutes of February 7,
1963 meeting be approved as read. Motion carried unanimously.
On the request of Westchester Heights, Inc. to re-zone Lot 1 and
16 through gg inclusive and Lot 45, from R-1AA to R-Z, Mr. Lawlor appeared
before the Board and explained his desire to build a garden apartment which
will act as a buffer from SeacreSt Blvd. insofar as homes in Westchester
Heights are concerned. He stated they would be placed on the market for sale
or as rental units.
There was considerable objection to t{-Z zoning in writing (petition
and letters)Jmost of which was due to other activities that would be permitted
in this zoningi~ Objectors present were: Mr. & Mrs. Edward Cyle, llZ SW
Z4th Ave., Mr.-& Mrs..~ Le~ster ¥ierling, 118 SW Z5th Ave., Mr. & Mrs. J. S.
Cavitt, 124-SW Z5th Ave~.~, Mr. & Mrs. Colabro, 132 SW 25th Ave.~
Mr; Ryd moved that the above request be denied, seconded by Mr.
Keatts and motion carried 4-0~Dr.' tlaulston not present when vote taken)
Mr. Keatts moved, Mr. Olds seconded that the plat for the proposed
extension of the Boynton Memorial Park be approved. Motion carried unanimously.
The Chairman's recommendation that an RZ-A and R3-A zoning be
created which would be for multiple family only or those uses under R-l, R-lA
and R-1AA did not receive action other than general discussion.
