MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD HELD
AT CITY HALL, BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, MARCH 14, 1959

Model Zoning Ordinance, as prepared by the City Attorney was distributed
to board members for study with view of necessary revisions to conf~m to the
requirements of this city.
Letter dated Jamaary 31, 1959 addressed to the Honorable Mayor and
City Commission, and signed by N. R. Field, was read and discussed. The
letter contained t~o requests for annexation in~o the city of two small
parcels at the northwest section of the present city limits and subsequently
referred to as request No. 1 and request No. 2.
REQUEST NO. 1. ~
A.parcel of land on Seacrest Blvd.,. 658 feet,
and 822 plus feet on what w~uld be the westerly
extension of Minor Road, if extended.
Motion to deny request was made, seconded and
unanimously passed.
REQUEST NO. 2.
A 250 foot strip on the South side of Minor Road.
Motion to deny request was made, seconded and
unanimously passed.
~The chair,_an was instruC~ad to advise city
c~mmission that annexation would square away
city limits and annexation would not be ob-
jectionable if property were zoned residential,
minimum i000 square feet, rather than business
zoned as requested.
Discussion of program for work on Zoning Ordinance was held.
Meeting adjourned.
