The 0hairman called the meeting to order at ?,30 P,M.
The minutes of the last regular meeting ef the Beard were read
and accepted,
Mr, Bates and these proper~y owners present with him said that
several people in his vicinity on North Federal Highway would like to
pool their properties in order to develSP the site for motels, hotels,
co-operative apartments, and ether businesses efa commercial, But
nos ef~ an industrial, nature,
It was explained to them that this would call for a new zeroing,
and that the Planning Beard were in sympathy with their request and
will de all in their power te get it granted,
After discussion, Mr.McBride moved that it Be recommended to the
Council that from the North City limits, East of U.S.1 to the Lake,
thence to the South te include 3eaview Trailer Park, owne~ By PhilliP
Bridger, Be zoned to incl-~e motels, hotels, co-operative apartments,
yachtels, boat basins, aud sales and service shops relating te these
types ef facilities~ that it is the feeling of the Planning Beard
that there should net Be any major beat-building shop, and ~hat boat
Business be confined to docking, sales, servicing and eharter~ that
the Buildings and permits for Businesses should be under the direct
control of the City Council, er efa Committee or 2orr Authority a~pointed

been made, the Beard would like to be able to use it for lucre planning;
