The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at ?.50 P.M,
.The minutes of the previous regular meeting of February 22nd were
read and accel~ted.
Er. Conrad Trautner of B~wyer, s ~otel asked that his property be zoned
to allcw trailers to meet the wishes of a prospective buyer.
~r. Floyd E. Simons, representing his brother-in-law , said they
are interested in the motel, but as the back part of the property is of no
use to them and they cannot use it, he requested that it be zoned so that
a trailer park can be developed there.
After discussion, ~r. ~cBride moved that it be recommended to the
Council that the Zoning Board have this matter returned te them in order
that it may be advertised and. go through the us~uaI legal channels, so that
the owners as Well as the neighbors can have a hearing. Nr. Chadwell
seconded. Motion carried.
Similar letters received from Mrs. and l~iss ~oster, '~r. Harold Allen
toandcommercia~.Er' Jos. 'C. Bates were read requesting re-zoning of certain Property
~Tr. Fel~fs moved, Er.Mcbride seconded, that it be ascertained from I~rs.
~flliams as to who brought the letters in, and ask the writers to attend
the next meeting of the Planning Beard, on April 2§th, at 7 P.~. at City
Hall, so that the Board can find out what they have in mind. Notion
carried.
A letter, was read from 2~rs. Irma ~eGa~hen requestf.ng re-zoning of
Lot 27, Sam Brown Jr.'s HYPoluxo Subdivision as commercial.
Er. Feltis moved, Mr. Mcbride seconded, that it be recommended that
that part of Section 15, Government Lot No.3, lying West of the FE~ rail'-
road to the Section line, bordered on the North by the entrance to P~yal
Palm Village, be zoned Commercial D., being in part of Sam Brown' Jr's.
subdivision. Eotion carried.
A letter was read from I~r. Dan Yount reGuesting re-zoning of V, ots in
The Lawns subdivision.
It was agreed that ~[r. Younts should be asked to attend the next regu-
lar meeting of. the Planning Board to tell what he wants.

~r. t~cBride moved that Northwest 8th Avenue on the South, Seacrest
BOUleYard on the ~.ast, N.W. 10th Avenue on the North, the Sea~ord ~ai!way
on the West, be zoned industrial. ~r, gh--~dWell seconded. Lotion
carried.
There being no further business the meeting was adjournea at 9.45 P.M.
