~r. Nyouist~ ~ read the minutes of the previous regular meeting of
Novem£oe r E~.

~Ir~ ~.cDonald moved that the minutes be accepted with the above
amendment. ~.~Tr. Chadwell seconded. ~Iotion carried.

~r. Eoepnick moved that the Planning Boa,d recommend to the Council that
no school property should front on U.S.1 or Seacrest Bouleva~. in
future. ~ro Todd seconded. ~otion carried.
It was agreed that the Planning Board snou_d reco~end to the Council
that they petition the County Co~mission to h~ve Boynton Beach H~nway
~u%~-n the State Januaz7 budget for roads.
After discussion on a heavy industrial zone, the matter was tabled
for ?urther consideration at the next ~eeting of the Board°
Mr, Todd reported at !er$~h on his findings after ex~miningthe
Buildi~ Code, and read a list of suggestions ~ich he thinks might be
incorporated in a building code.
DTr. L~etkel thanked ~r.Todd for his preliminary study.
It w%s stated that the Cou_ucil have now authorised the Building
Inspector to revise the City Building Code in line with the latest and
recently published amendments of the National Building Code.
After discussion, it was agreed that in order to give the new Commission
an opportunity to appoint a new Planning Board, or re-app9int some of the
members of the present Board, the members of the Board tender their resig-
nations, to take effect i~mediately. At the same time they wish to express
their appreciation of the honor of having been appointed to serve on the
Planning Board.
