FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENT
Demolition operations involving the use of cutting & welding
shall be done in accordance with Chapter 41 of NFPA 1,
Uniform Fire Code, 2012 edition.
Combustible waste material shall not be burned at
the demolition site. Combustible materials shall be removed
as often as necessary to minimize the hazards.
NFPA 1, 2012 edition.
The road to and within this site shall remain accessable to
Emergency equipment and vehicles.
FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS
DEMOLITION AND INTERIOR IMPROVEMENT
All Fire & Life Safety equipment and systems
shall remain active and in service. Fire Alarms,
Sprinkler Systems etc. shall be properly spaced
and visable throughout this process. This may
require relocation of such devices. If the
protection is deminished at any time, the job
will be halted. Fire Department access to the
building or Fire Department Connections shall
not be hindered in any way.

WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE
DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE OR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
5. ALL WORK SHALL EQUAL OR EXCEED ALL APPLICABLE

6. COMPARISON OF ALL ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL,
MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS SHALL
BE PERFORMED BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND ALL
SUB—CONTRACTORS PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF
CONSTRUCTION, AND ALL DIMENSIONS SHALL BE CHECKED BY

9. IN THE EVENT THAT CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE
CONSTRUCTION ARE NOT FULLY SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS
NOR CALLED FOR IN THE SPECIFICATIONS, THEN, THEIR
CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE OF THE SAME CHARACTER AND
QUALITY AS THOSE OF SIMILAR CONDITIONS THAT ARE
SHOWN OR CALLED FOR. IN ALL INSTANCES, THE
ARCHITECT SHALL BE CONSULTED FOR VERIFICATION OF
ACCEPTABLE QUALITY AND CHARACTER PRIOR TO
COMMENCEMENT OF WORK ON THE AFFECTED AREA.
10. THE ARCHITECT AND/OR ENGINEER SHALL NOT HAVE
CHARGE, CONTROL, NOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
CONSTRUCTION MEANS, METHODS, SEQUENCES,
PROCEDURES, OR FOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS.
11. IMPACT FEES, WATER CONNECTION FEES, AND DEPOSITS
FOR PERMANENT UTILITY SERVICES SHALL BE PAID FOR BY
THE OWNER. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNER
WHEN THESE FEES APPLY PRIOR TO THE START OF
CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT.
12. CONTRACTOR'S 'REQUEST FOR PAYMENT' SHALL INCLUDE
RELEASES OF LIEN FOR ALL MATERIAL SUPPLIERS AND
SUB—CONTRACTORS' WORK RELATING TO THE REQUEST FOR
PAYMENT.
13. ALL 'CHANGE ORDERS' SHALL BE SIGNED BY THE OWNER
AND APPROVED BY THE ARCHITECT AND/OR ENGINEER.
14. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR ALL
PREFABRICATED ITEMS OF THE WORK, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: TRUSSES, CABINETRY, AIR
CONDITIONING, ETC. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN THE
ARCHITECT'S WRITTEN APPROVAL OF SHOP DRAWINGS PRIOR
TO FABRICATION SAMPLES SHALL BE SUBMITTED UPON
REQUEST.
15. ALL REQUIRED TESTS SHALL BE PERFORMED BY AN
APPROVED TESTING LABORATORY AT THE CONTRACTOR'S
EXPENSE. TEST RESULTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE
ARCHITECT.
16. CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN ALL AREAS OF THE WORK ON

ARCHITECT'S WRITTEN APPROVAL OF SHOP DRAWINGS PRIOR
