The Series PW-701 Aluminum Fixed Window- Non-Impact and Large Missile Impact
Resistant and its components shall be constructed in strict compliance with the following
documents: Drawing No 4231, Sheets [ through 8 of 8, titled "PW-701 Aluminum Fixed Window,"
dated 8/I 3/01, prepared by manu£acturcr, signed and scaled by Robert L. Clark, P.E., bearing the
Miami-Dado County Product Control approval stamp with the Notice oCAcccptancc number and
approval date by the Miami-Dado County Product Control Division. These documents sl~all
hereinafter be re[erred to as thc approved drawings.
3. LIMITATIONS
3.1 This approval applies to single unit applications only, as shown in approved drawings.
3.2 Nort-lmpact Resistant windows, for Design Pressure Rating vs. Window Size, see Comparative
Analysis Tables in Sheet 8 of' 8 of' approved drawings.

4. INSTAI,LATION
4.1 The aluminum fixcd xvinctow and its components shall bc installed in strict compliance with thc
approved drawings.
4.2 Hurricane protection system (shutters): to determine whether the installation requires a hurricane
protection system or not, scc corresponding table in approved drawing.
5. LABELING
5,1 Each unit shall bear a permanent label with thc manufiicturcr's name or logo, city, state and
[ollowing statement: "Miami-Dado County Product Control Approved".

and Ihe original submitted documentation, inch]ding test supporting data, engineering documents,
are no older than eight (8) years.
Any and all approved products shall be permanently labeled with tile manufacturer's name, city,
state, and the following statement: "Miami-Dado County Product Control Approved", or as
specifically stated ill thc specific conditions of this Acceptance.
Rcncxvals of Acceptance will not be considered iff
a. There has been a change in tile South Florida Building Code affecting tile evaluation ofthis
product and thc product is not in compliance with the code changes;
b. The product is no longer the same product (identical) as the one originally approved.
c. lfthc Acceptance holder has not complied with all tile requirements ofthis acceptance,
including the correct installation of thc product;
d. The engineer, who originally prepared, signed and scaled the required documentation initially
submitted, is no longer practicing tile engineering profession.

Any revision or change ill thc materials, usc, and/or manul~cturc of tile product or process shall
autornatically be cause for termination of this Acceptance, unless prior written approval has been
requested (through tile filing ora revision application with appropriate fcc) and granted by this
orficc.
Any of'the folloxving shall also be grounds for removal of this Acceptance:
a. Unsatisfactory performance of this product or process;
b. Misuse ofthis Acceptance as an endorsement ofany product, for sales, advertising or any
other purpose.
Tim Notice of Acceptance number preceded by thc words Dade County, Florida, and followed by
tile expiration date may be displayed ill advertising literature. If any portion of the Notice of
Acceptance is displayed, then it shall bc done in its entirety.
A copy of this Acceptance as well as approved drawings and other docunmnts, where it applies,
shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and shall bc available for
inspection al thc job site at all times. Thc engineer docs not need to festal thc copies.
Failure to comply with ally section o£ this Acceptance shall bc cause for termination and removal of
Acceptance.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
2.1 The l"x Stnndard Wnll - Aluminum Tube Clipped ~lullion and its components shall be
constructed in strict compliance with tile Following documents: Drawing No 6620, Sheets I through
5 of 5, titled "1" Std. Wall Mullion Arrangement Detail", prepared by manu£acturer, dated 4/28/00,
signed and sealed by Robert L. Clark, P.E., bearing the Miami-Dade County Product Control
approval stamp; with the Notice of Acceptance number and approval date by the Miami-Dade
County Product Control Division. These documents shall hereinafter be referred to as the approved
drawings.
3. LIMITATIONS
3.1 This approval applies to clipped structural mullions to be installed vertically or horizontally, as
shown in tile approved drawings.
3.2 For Design Pressure Rating vs. Mullion Length and Opening Widtll, for either lx2x.125 (2 anchors)
mullion or l x4x. 125 (4 anchors) mullion, see corresponding table in approved drawings.
3.3 Window sizes and design pressures are to be linlited only to those appearing on charts referenced
above and also listed in the individual window's Notice of Acceptance.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1 The clipped mullion system and its components shall be installed in strict compliance with the
approved drawings.
4.2 This nlullion can be installed as part of an impact resistant unit.
5. LABELING
5.1 Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and
following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved".
6. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS

18-98 and Iast revised on I0-11-2001, signed and sealed by Robert L. Clark, P.E., bearing the
Miami-Dade County Product Control Approval stamp with the Notice of' Acceptance number and
approval date by the Miami-Dade County Product Control Division. These documents shall
hereinafter be referred to as the approved drawings.
3. LIMITATIONS
3.1 This approval applies to single unit applications only, as shown in approved drawings.

4. INSTALLATION

NOTICE OF' ACCEI'TANCE: SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
I. SCOPE
1.1 This approves a clipped mullion system, as described in Section 2 of this Notice el' Acceptance,
designed to comply with the South Florida Building Code (SFBC), 1994 Edition for Miami-Dado
County, for the locations where thc pressure rcqt, ircmcnts, as determined by SFBC Chapter 23, do
not exceed the Design Pressure Rating values indicated in tile approved drawings.
2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
2.1 The l'x Standard Wall - Aluminum T,be Clil)ped Mullion and its components shall be
constructed in strict compliance with tile following documents: Drawing No 66?.0, Sheets I through
5 of 5, titled "1" Std. Wall Mullion Arrangemcut Detail", prepared by manufimturer, dated 4/28/00,
signed and sealed by Robert L. Clark, P.E., bearing the Miami-Dadc County Product Control
approval stamp; with the Notice of' Acceptance at, tuber and approval date by the Miami-Dado
County Product Control Division. These documents shall hereinafter be referred to as the approved
drawings.
3. LIMITATIONS
3.1 This approval applies to clipped structural mullions to bc installed vertically or horizontally, as
shown in the approved drawings.
3.2 For Design Pressure Rating vs. Mullion Length and Opening Width, for either lx2x.125 (2 anchors)
mullion or lx4x. 125 (4 anchors) mullion, see corresponding table in approved drawings.
3.3 Window sizes and design pressures are to be limited only to those appearing on charts referenced
above and also listed in tile individual windoxv's Notice of Acceptance.
4. INSTALLATION
4.1 Tile clipped mullion system and its components shall bc installed in strict compliance with tile
approved drawings.
4.2 This mullion can be installed as part of an impact resistant unit.
5. LABEL1NG
5.1 Each unit si'tall bear a pemlanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo, city, state and
following statement: "Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved".
6. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
6.1 Application for bt, tiding permit shall bc accompanied by copies ortho following:
6.1.1 This Notice of'Acceptance, with mullion option indicated.
6.1.2 The Notice of Acceptance of each door and/or fixed lite attached to mt, Ilion.
6.1.3 Duplicate copies of the approved drawings, as identified in Section 2 ofthis Notice of
Acceptance, clearly marked to show the components selected for the proposcd installation.
