LEGAL APPROVAL DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT Building . Planning & Zoning . Neighborhood Services . Occupational Licenses . Community Redevelopment March 24, 2000 Robert E. Fetrow, P.E. Gator Engineering Services, Inc. 7289 Garden Road, Suite 104 West Palm Beach, FL 33404 RE: REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF SIDEWALK REQUIREMENT 510 E. INDUSTRIAL AVENUE (POLY PLASTIC PACKAGING, INC.) Dear Mr. Fetrow: I have reviewed your request for a sidewalk waiver and have visited the site of your proposed improvement. The safety of our citizens and the general public is the main consideration in the review of a waiver request. I feel that elimination of the sidewalk could endanger someone's safety. There are also existing sidewalks in the vicinity of this improvement and the existing sidewalk immediately to the north of this property could be extended throughout your right-of- way. Therefore, I regret to inform you that based on Chapter 22, Article I, Section 5A of the Land Development Regulations, I am unable to approve your request. This letter serves as official DENIAL of your application for waiver of sidewalk requirement. DJ:bg XC: Quintus Greene, Director of Development Michael Rumpf, Director of Planning & Zoning Michael E.
