STRUCTURE
Conceptual agreement was reached today regarding dimensional variances requested by
DeBartolo. Parties attending in addition to this writer were the DeBartolo representative, Haag
and Lewicki.
All present concurred that variance requests previously submitted would be withdrawn or denied
but that all present would support a new variance (from 27' aisle to 26' aisle) on two, and only
two, parking bays; and that those two bays would be the aisles immediately north and iIJ11T,lediate1y
south of the center ramped bay.
With regard to parking directly on the ramped aisle, staff remains opposed. The DeBartolo rep
agree to submit detailed plans depicting all dimensions, both horizontal and vertical, as well as
documentation by recognized authority that parking can be successfully implemented on slopes
exceeding ten percent.
