Upon review of the above-referenced project, the following items should be
addressed by the design professional:
1. Dumpster enclosure details must be provided. A six-foot (6') high stuccoed
concrete block wall is required on three (3) sides of the dumpster.
" 2. The location of the dumpster enclosure must be shown on the site plan.
3. Provide details of exterior light fixtures on the building(s).

4.
Provide details of the light poles. Light poles must be designed, in
accordance with Chapter 12 of the Standard Building Code, to withstand
120 miles per hour windloads.
5.
Handicapped striping must be four (4) feet wide and painted blue in conform-
ance with city codes.
6.
Handicapped parking signs, in conformance with State Department of Transporta-
tion standards, must be provided at each handicapped parking stall.
7.
Parking lot dimensions and striping details must comply with city codes.
8.
Curbing must be provided around all landscape areas adjacent to parking
stalls (and along all curvilinear driveways where vehicle encroachment is
likely) .'
9.
The minimum dimensions for parking stalls are nine feet (9') by eighteen feet
(18 ' ) .

1. Submit parking lot lighting plan in conformance with Chapter 19, Article II,
Sec. 19-17 (Plan Required) and Article X, Sec's. 5-142, 5-144.
2. Parking lot striping detail is required on plans as per Article X, Appendix C.
3. Provide stop sign at exit side of driveway, also details of sign installation
and traffic flow indicators. (pavement markings). Refer to Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices.
4. Additional details on parking lot construction will be required to conform
with Article X, Parking Lot Construction, Appendix A.
5. Site plan does not clearly indicate existing edge of pavement along Railroad
Avenue and plans require existing and proposed elevations as well as approach
radii.
6. Raised continuous concrete curbing is required adjacent to all landscaped areas
not protected by concrete wheel stops. Detail drawing available at Engr. Dept.
. 7. Building must be handicap accessible. Provide handicap ramp location & detail.
8. Stormwater runoff from parking lot must be contained on site. Drainage calcu-
lations, details, elevations etc. required per standards in Article X, Parking
Lot Regulations.
