As a condition of site plan approval, the following comments should be
incorporated into the related documents by the applicant:
1. Within required setbacks, dumpster enclosures are limited to a
six foot overall height.
2. Sidewalks on the east and west property lines must continue through
the turnouts.
3. Traffic control signage must comply with the manual on Uniform
Traffic Control.

4. Directional signage within the parking area must comply with the
Boynton Beach Sign Ordinance which limits overall sign area to
four (4) square feet and overall sign height to five (5) feet.
5. The Boynton Beach Parking Lot Ordinance requires a minimum back-
up dimension of 27 feet.
6. Parking stalls must be double striped in accordance with the
Boynton Beach Parking Lot Ordinance. Handicapped parking stalls
require signage in conformance with Department of Transportation
standards.
7. Site lighting must be designed to withstand a 120 m.p.h. wind load
in compliance with Chapter 12 of the Standard Building Code.
8. The sidewalk at the rear of the building which runs north-south'
should be extended to the sidewalk in the right-of-way, to allow
for pedestrian access to the site.
The applicant's prompt compliance with the preceding comments will insure
a timely permitting process.

COMMENTS:-
1. Bicycle proof inlet grates are required in paved areas.
2. All dimensions required for construction of the parking
lot should be shown.
3. Additional pavement elevations are required.

4. What is the average ground water elevation?
5. I recommend that the 8" PVC drain pipe be replaced with a
12" for maintenance reasons.
6. Details are required for lighting poles and foundations.
Conduits and conductors to be shown for lighting system.
Poles to be designed for 120 M.P.H. wind. Photo cell
switches required.
7. A 1% minimum gradient is required for new pavement.
8. Add typical parking space detail, wheel stop locations and
double striping to the plans.

Site plan for Sun Bank North
During the review of plans for Sun Bank North (change in parking lot and
drive in tellers). I did not find updated security lighting on the east or
south sides of the building. I recommend pole mounted security lighting be
installed in those areas.

With respect to the above-referenced request for site plan
approval, please be advised of the Planning Department's
comments:
.
1. The westerly most driveway entrance from S.E. 2nd
Avenue does not meet the Section 5-142(h)(3),
Article X, Parking Lots, requirement that no
parking lot driveway be constructed closer than
thirty (30) feet from the intersection of the
right-of-way lines along local streets.

2. It should be noted that the parking requirement
for financial institutions is one (1) parking
space per two hundred fifty (250) square
feet of gross floor area, and not the one per
two hundred as indicated on the site plan.
3. The paving and drainage plan does not meet the
intent of the comprehensive plan policy
on all portions of the site, that surface water be
diverted over grassed areas for filtration prior to
discharge. Also, surface water management systems must
be designed and constructed to retain or detain with
filtration, as a minimum, the first one inch of runoff
or the runoff from a one-hour, three year storm event,
whichever is greater.

The following comments pertain to the landscape plan
for the above:

1. All interior parking lot .trees must have a clear
trunk of 5' at time of planting.
2. Sabal Palms should be relocated in clumps of
threes, fives or sevens. Palm trees noted as
Cabbage Palms are not normally planted as single
trees for landscape use.
3. Type of sod used should be stated.
