Existing SFWMD Permit Summary
Project was f/k/a The Summit
SFWMD Permit 50-00636-S was issued for the overall development and construction of
the golf course and surface water management system January 18, 1979.
SFWMD Permit Modification under Application 071219-1 on March 18, 2008 that
modified the existing lakes on this south course
Permitted Control Water Elevations is 8.5 NGVD
Proposed Permit Modificaiton Summary
Datum Conversion Factor: NAVD 88 elevation + 1.52’ = NGVD 29 elevation
Control Water Elevations noted on engineering plans is 7.0 NAVD 88 for Parcel 1 Basin
(lakes on holes 13-16) and Parcel 2 Basin (hole lakes on holes 11/12 & 17/18)., and is
10.5 NAVD for Parcel 3 Basins (lakes on holes 1-10)
South Course renovation proposes to modify lakes within 3 parcels (basins) of the master
drainage system:
Parcel 1 Basin will excavate 1.75 acres and fill 1.44 acres of lake for a net addition of
0.31 acres of lake.
Parcel 2 Basin will excavate 0.10 acres and fill 0.10 acres of lake for no net change of
lake area.
Parcel 3 Basins will excavate 1.16 acres and fill 0.86 acres of lake for a net increase
of 0.30 acres of lake.
No changes are proposed to the existing control structure
No significant changes are proposed to the existing grading of the driving range
No dewatering is currently proposed as part of this project
Golf course will continue to be irrigated under existing water use permit 50-00331-W
