DRB Report to CRA - CBD Application Process / 23 January 1987 / page 2 A motion was made and passed tabling the review of Country Treasures signage, as representatives of this business were not present. City Manager Peter Cheney addressed the board and raised the issue of Banana Boat Restaurant's planning future expansion. He suggested the board may want to consider allowing the exclusion of a walkway behind the restaurant, which could be achieved if the board wished to consider relaxing the CBD Code requirement of an 8-foot setback. The board to extend an invitation to the Banana Boat representatives to attend the DRB Code Workshop scheduled for Thursday, 12 February 1987, at 7:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers. The CRA and its attorney, and City Council, the City Manager, the City Attorney, and members of the Planning and Building Department staffs have been invited to this workshop, too, and the board hopes all will be able to participate in it.
