Dear Mr. Clark:
I hope the following reflects accurately the content of our telep~Dne
conversation of February 10th.
LAS PAU1AS LANDING is a r'eplat by Las Palmas Intracif~tal, Inc. of what
was formerly known as Fis~lerman's Landing. We originally propo-3ed our replat in 1985 and
on December 17, 1985 the City Council approved the Preliminary Plat subject to certain
staff comments. We believe that we had complied with the staff comments and were ready to
plat, when an unexpected title pr'oblem came up and we have been delayed until now .
However, our approvals afe now expired and the purpose of this letter is to reluest from the
City Council an extension of our approvals until May 30, 1987.
As per your request our engineer, Richard A. Tashjian, P.E., is preparing
an update of his cost estimates for site improvements for bonding purposes. He will also be
supplying us with several sets of his plans for your review.
We unrerstand that the Administration Fee has been increa:.-ed to 2ll from

As I explained, the value of the property has not changed because of our
title problems and I refer you to the affidavit we submitted on December 17, 1985 to that
effect
Persuant to conversaUons with Mr. Graay Swan in 1985 it was
ootermined that a Recreation Fee in the amount of $25,087.11 has been paid for this
properfy and that amount may be in excess of the amount due under the ordinance.
. As you will see upon examination of the proposed plat and engineering
drawings. we have not mede any changes in the approved OCcuments except those contained in
the staff comments. Therefore, the description of the replat is unchanged.

Attached is the appropriate environmental permit requested for
the above-mentioned project. The project had been inspected in
1981 when it was known as Fisherman's Landing. The land is
cleared and contains a seawall where it is adjacent to the intra-
coastal.
