DESCRIPTION: This is a site plan approval request for Barnett Bank at Boynton Plaza, located at the southwest corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Congress Avenue, zoned C-3. Site improvements include construction of a 1,572 square foot addition, redesign of the building facade to comply with the Community Design Plan and modifications to the existing parking lot, including expansion of 15 parking spaces within the vacant parcel west of the bank. RECOMMENDATION: The Planning and Development Board unanimously recommends approval of this request, subject to staff comments (Engineering Department memorandum dated June 27, 1994 and Planning and Zoning Department memorandum dated July 6, 1994). In addition, the Board's recommendation was subject to staff and the applicant arriving at a design solution to eliminate the right turns that are being made at the southwest corner of the bank where a "No Right Turn" sign is currently posted.
