NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Development Board of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, shall meet at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday,
January 12, 1993, at city Hall Commission Chambers, 100 East Boynton
Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, to consider an application for a
PARKING LOT VARIANCE on the following described property:

All of Tracts 1 and 2 of the Subdivision of the
West ~ of Section 33, Township 45 South, Range 43
East, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 4 of the
Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida,
lying west of the west right-of-way of the F.E.C.
Railroad, east of the east right-of-way of
Seacrest Boulevard and south of the south right-
of-way of Woolbright Road, containing 14.73 acres,
more or less.

Relief from Article X - Parking Lots, Section
5-142, Required Improvements of the Boynton Beach
Code of Ordinances:
(a) Lighting. Each parking lot shall be lit in
such a manner as to provide a safe
environment. Levels of illumination and
liminaire types shall comply with city
standards.
(h) Driveway.
(3) No parking lot driveway may be
constructed closer than thirty (30) feet
from the intersection of the right-of-
way lines along local streets and one
hundred eighty (180) feet along streets
of a higher classification as shown on
the city or county thoroughfare plans.
(5) The minimum distance from the street
right-of-way line at any major ingress
or egress driveway to any parking stall
or to any interior access aisle having
direct access to such driveway shall be
one hundred (100) feet.
(7) No more than two (2) driveways shall be
permitted from any property. Where
properties abut more than one (1) public
or private right-of-way, additional
driveways may be permitted depending
upon traffic volumes, but in no instance
shall the number of driveways exceed two
(2) on each street.
Nature of
Variances
Requested:
a)
Variance request to allow the facility to
operate without the installation of lighting
fixtures with appropriate levels of
lumination for the parking lot.
b) Variance request to allow the existing
driveway on Seacrest Boulevard that is
approximately one hundred (100) feet from the
Woolbright Road intersection to remain.
c) Variance request to allow the existing
driveway on Woolbright Road to function with
a twenty-eight (28) foot deep driveway
entrance onto the site.
d) Variance request to allow the existing three
(3) driveways on Seacrest Boulevard to remain
functional.
Use:
Water Treatment Plant
All interested parties are notified to appear at said hearings in
person or by attorney and be heard. Any person who decides to appeal
any decision of the Planning and Zoning Board or city Commission with
respect to any matter considered at these meetings will need a record
of proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
