Fire lanes shall have a minimum pavement width of twenty-two (22) feet. Fire lanes shall not be encumbered by parked vehicles, including commercial vehicles, and shall not be used for the loading or unloading of commercial vehicles. Additionally, fire lanes shall be clearly marked with signs and striping or a combination of both, which shall comply with city standards. Nature of Variance Requested: To eliminate an existing fire lane in front of a retail building to allow the construction of additional parking. Use: Retail/office buildl~gE.
