She advised that this application was submitted in connection with a major site plan. The existing building is an office building and a portion of the building will be used by a church. Because of a change in occupancy, the parking facility must meet current standards. The existing driveway on Old Dixie Highway is forty feet (401) less than the required standard of 1801. This is a request for relief from that requirement. The Planning and Development Board unanimously recommended approval of this variance. THERE WAS NO ONE PRESENT TO SPEAK AT THE PUBLIC HEARING. Mayor Harmening pointed out that this portion of Old Dixie Highway has not been overly burdened with traffic and our requirement for 180' is antiquated in this particular area.
