Signage at Meadows Park
We have received the attached letter and drawing from Jim Park at
Gee and Jenson regarding the sign at Meadows Park.
Normally these signs are reviewed administratively, but because
members of the Commission expressed an interest in reviewing the
sign, it was decided to forward the pertinent information to you
to distribute t9 them. We do have a color rendering of the sign.
If a member of the Commission wishes to review that drawing,
please ask them to contact our office.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to call me.

Re: Sign - Meadows Park
Dear Mr. Cutro:
Please find enclosed copies of a sketch showing elevation, plan and section views of a

sign will be illuminated as shown and will be parallel to Congress Avenue, near the mid-
point of the fronta9.e.
We submit this sketch in order that the necessary review might be completed prior to
submittal of bid documents for the park project.
I believe at least one member of the City Commission expressed interest in seeing the
sign design at the time the commission approved the site plan.
I will appreciate your processing the sign sketch at the earliest practicable date.

RE:
Meadows Park II; Site Plan Change:
Dumps~er Elimination
DATE:
July 14, 1993
Per our conversation regarding the above subject and with agreement
and concurrence of Bob Eichorst, Public Works Director, the
dumpster pad is being eliminated from the site plan. Neighborhood
parks in our system do not normally have dumpsters. The park
operation visits all parks twice a week for trash can emptying and
this service is appropriate for Meadows II. In addition, we have
experienced dumpsters to be dumping grounds in park areas which
actually create a nuisance and extra clean-up work.

The water service off Chesterfield Drive, Boynton Lakes Park,
appears to fall in a stabilized turf area. This is not
desirable. The design consultant has been provided the
locations of our utilities. It is recommended he overlay the
proposed and existing services on the plan to avoid conflicts
before construction drawings are prepared.
2. In a matter unrelated to utilities, the restroom design
allows for viewing, f~om the parking lot, the restroom
interiors when the doors are open. Exterior partitions
should be considered to prevent this.
