Lauderdale, FL 33301 Re: Palm Beach County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Ordinance - Rolling Green Scrub Dear Mr. Smith: We have received your request for an exemption from the referenced Ordinance in connection with the Boynton Beach park site known as Rolling Green Scrub. Prior to receipt of your request, our office made a determination that Boynton Beach had validly opted out of the Ordinance through the enactment of its own environmentally sensitive lands ordinance. A letter to this effect is en route to Mr. Timothy Cannon. Mr. Cannon has also been advised of our determination in a phone conversation I had with him today. Accordingly, it is not necessary for us to process your request under the Ordinance. Please call me with any questions. tj/t' , ,/ . __ I I -~~ . 0- HJ/lw cc: Gordon P. Selfridge, Asst.
