a Notice of Intent regarding the adopted small scale development
plan amendment in accordance with procedures contained in Section
163.3187(3) (a), Florida statutes.

Poinciana Elementary School - N.W. 12th Avenue Roadway Abandonment Application
Dear Ms. Parker:
Please find attached to assist the City staff three (3) copies of the Abandonment Application for
the above referenced school site with the following attachments:
1. Exhibit "A" - Legal description of parcels for abandonment
2. Exhibit "B" - Plat Dedication for each parcel to be abandoned
3. Exhibit "C" - The fully executed Site Expansion Interlocal Agreement between
School Board of Palm Beach County and the City of Boynton Beach for Poinciana
Elementary School site
Pursuant to the provisions of the Interlocal Agreement between the Boynton Beach City Council
and the Palm Beach County School Board the District has acquired and owns properties on both
sides of N.W. 12th Avenue, from Seacrest Boulevard to 1st Street, as shown on the attached
property map.
The site plan for the new Poinciana requires abandonment of this street. We hope that the
Interlocal Agreement approval by our res ective boards and the application information attached
will enable the City and staff t administratively handle our abandonment request.

Below are a list of issuses that need to be discussed at the
meeting that should be held next week. All the school
districts cast of characters involved with the Poinciana
construction project should attend this meeting.
Discussion Issues:
1. Drainage- where will the drainage be placed? Needs to
be finalized.
2. Interlocal agreement - References made that interlocal
agreement would negate certain permitting and fee
requirements.
3. Property Li~g- Rezoning Application requires 400 ft.
property listing and tax maps with 400ft. property
bounderies shown.
4. Traffic Study - City zoning code requires traffic study
be done for rezoning application.
5. No Utility Data- Data needed on comparing existing to
proposed new utilities.
6. Rezonpng Application not signed by proper authority.
7 . Verify Legal descriptions on the properties involved in
the construction project.
