The Planning and Development Board, with a 7-0 vote, denied the request of a Community Design Plan appeal to allow a canvas dumpster enclosure. For further details pertaining to this request, see attached Planning and Zoning Memorandum No. 97-411. Also, the applicant is requesting postponement of the Commission's ratification of the Planning and Development Board's action so that he can make a presentation before the Commission (see attached letter). Therefore, if the Commission determines that the postponement is warranted, this item should be pulled off the consent agenda to be discussed under "Development Plans" at the September 2, 1997 City Commission meeting.
