BUILDING DEPARTMENT
MEMORANDUM NO. 93-046
February 25, 1993
TO:
Chris Cutro
Planning Director
FROM:
Don Jaeger
Building Official
RE:
CITRUS PARK
On December 1, 1992 the City Commission granted a time extension
with which to file the final plat for Citrus Park. Attached to
the package, and made a condition thereof, was Building
Department memorandum 92-212. This memorandum stated that the
owners had 30 days from the date of approval of the time
extension to complete the two items listed or else the extension
would become null and void.
Item one required the removal of numerous large mounds of dead
trees and vegetation and item two required the clearing of the
first 50 feet of the property boundary adjacent to developed or
maintained property, consistent with Section 10-2 of the Boynton
Beach Code of Ordinances. To date, these requirements have not
been complied with and since we have verbally discussed this
matter on numerous occasions to no avail, I feel I must reduce my
concerns to writing.
Since we are rapidly approaching hurricane season and because
this debris can be quite dangerous in a high wind situation, I
trust you agree with the imperative nature of this situation.
Please see that this condition is rectified as soon as possible.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
By copy of this memorandum, I am also informing Code Enforcement
of this potentially hazardous condition.
