All utilities easements shall be shown on the rectified landscaping X drawings so it can be determined which trees may interfere with utilities. In general, palm trees will be the only tree species allowed within utilities easements. Canopy trees may be planted outside of the easement so that roots and branches will not impact those utilities within the easement in the foreseeable future. LDR Sec. 7.5-18.1 gives public utilities the authority to remove any trees that interfere with utility services, either in utility easements or public rights-of-way. 2. Fire flow calculations will be required demonstrating the city code X requirement of 1500 g.p.m. as stated in LDR Chap. 6, Art. , Sec. 16, or the requirement imposed by insurance underwriters, whichever IS greater. It is recommended that since only southbound traffic can access site, consider making the existing circular driveway one-way from north to south. If done, the width of the driveway could be reduced creating a larger landscape area around the existing sign. BUILDING DIVISION Comments: 19. Site plan review will be required for future building signage." 20. Add to the proposed site plan a labeled symbol that represents the location of the accessible path that is required from the accessible building entrance to the accessible access aisle located adjacent to the accessible parking spaces. Also identify on the site plan the width and type of material proposed for the accessible path. Place a note on the site plan next to the labeled symbol indicating that the accessible route complies with the regulations specified in the Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction. (Mike Rumpf, Acting Planning and Zoning Director) Mr. Rumpf informed the Board that all items that were approved at the May 12,1998 Meeting were approved by the Commission with the exception of the Bradshaw Variances that were tabled at the previous meeting. Also, Mr. Rumpf stated that the Riverwalk Plaza Variance item was postponed for thirty days at the Commission meeting. Mr. Reed also noted that when Mr. Aguila was on the Board, he proposed that some' type of recognition be adopted by the City for property that exhibited good characteristics, to be announced on a quarterty or yearty basis. Mr. Reed inquired what happened to this program? . Mr. Rumpf stated that the Commission approved this concept. Attorney Pawelczyk stated that Ms. Heyden was in charge of this program, but since she is no longer with the City, Mr. Rumpf will be in charge of the program. Before anything can be done, Attomey Pawelczyk stated that the Board will have to decide upon a date and the details will have to be worked out. Mr. Rumpf also stated he will check into this further and report back to the Board.
