c. Sheet 5, Overall Planting Plan
1. Change all Sabal palms to Queen palms
2. Change 29 Carrotwood trees on Aspen Way
and Black Oak Way to 38 Mahogany trees.
(Note: Overall Mahogany tree count
increased because Carrotwood trees
opposite buildings 48-52 were also
changed to Mahogany.
3. See note at bottom right corner of page.
Tree count on pages 5, 6, 7 & 8, total
68% native material.
d. Sheet 6, Recreation Planting Plan
1. Add planting to surround spa and screen
pool equipment.
2. Add planting at flagpole location.
e. Sheet 7, Entry Planting Plans
1. Change Coco Plum to Dwarf Nerium Oleander.
2. Change Scaevola to Silver buttonwood.
Both changes are requested because of
availability of plant material in a size
that is adequate for entry statement
planting.
f. Sheet 8, Typical 8-Unit Building
(Alternate 111)
1. Substitute 9 Queen palms for 9 Sabal
palms at rear corners and right side of
building. After planting the Queen palms
in front of the buildings per the approved
change from Sabal palms, the Sabals in the
rear did not provide a unified look with
the front.
2. Substitute 1 10'-12' multi stem Wax Mrytle
for 1 Peltophortum pterocarpum (NON NATIVE
TO NATIVE).
3. Delete 10 Ixora's and replace with 40 Cuphea
(Heather) (Replacements are 4 Heather for
each Ixora deleted).
4. Substitute 48 Ficus Nitida shrubs for 48
Hibiscus around air conditioner compressors.
5. Delete 3 Philodendron burgundii from interior
entry court. There is not enough room with
all the other plants.
(Alternate 112)
1. Substitute 120 Silver buttonwood for 120
Coco plum shrubs. (NATIVE TO NATIVE)
2. Change Ixora - delete 10 and replace with
40 Cuphea (Heather). Substitute 22 Pink
Hibiscus for 22 Ixora between driveways.
