Box 310 Boynton Beach, FL 33425-0310 Re: Shoppes ofW oolbright PCD signed program File #MSPN 96-005 Dear Ms. Heyden: We are in receipt of your December 9, 1996 letter and attached Development Order indicating action by the Boynton Beach City Commission approving of the application for a major site plan modification for the Shoppes ofW oolbright Place. I would like to call to your attention to an error in the "Additional Conditions" attached to the Development Order, to wit: Condition #2: "All monument signs (including Racetrac, Burger King, Discount Auto and Future Parcel Tenants) be designed to match the monument signs across the racetrack and that the size of monument signs be 56 square feet, with a maximum height of 4' and a maximum width of 8' on top of a 2' high base". The condition should be corrected to indicate that the maximum height allowed is 5' and the maximum width is 8' on top of a 2' high base. Please advise if your records show differently, otherwise, we will expect a correction to the Development Order and correspondence from your office indicating same. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. cr::: Anna S. Specifically requested is a waiver of the requirement that "The number of colors used for tenant signage for multiple tenant buildings and their outbuildings and outparcels shall be limited to two, in addition to white and black." This waiver request is in response to staff comments regarding a pending application for modification to the sign program for the Shoppes of Woolbright PCD. We are requesting that this waiver be processed concurrently with the sign program modification. The waiver is intended to allow the development and placement of signs at the Shoppes of Woolbright Place to serve the several national tenants which will be constructing facilities at the center. The tenants have been identified in the application for sign program modification, and include Racetrac Petroleum, Burger King, Walmart and Discount Auto stores. Each of the tenants is seeking signage consistent with its individual program. The colors and styles selected in all cases reflect the trademarked, nationally recognized signage of the tenants. All of the colors and styles of the proposed signs are identified within the modified sign program submitted. Your assistance and cooperation in processing this application is appreciated. Please feel free to call if you have any questions or need additional information. Sincerely, ~ Gh:tt~ Anna Cottrell, AICP Principal
