following:
· 3 copies of the Site PlanJEngineering Plan. Note that the Tool Rental Center and
adjacent parking revision are noted as future. Home Depot intends to move forward
only with the pick-up canopy at this time.
· 3 copies of the Landscape Plan as required by Conditions of Approval.
I am submitting a building permit package to the Building Department concurrently.

Dear Mr. Rumpf:
Pursuant to our November 23rd pre-application meeting, attached are 12 sets of plans
illustrating the proposed Tool Rental Area and Pick-Up canopy at the existing Home Depot
Store.
This proposal requests the addition of a 2,093 s.f. roofed addition to the west facade and a
696 s.f. fenced outdoor storage area adjacent to the addition.
The proposal adds 2,789 s.f. of retail square footage to the Home Depot store, and
removes the same amount of square footage from the "Future Retail" shown in front of the new
"Expo Design Center Store", so the total square footage of retail/commercial on the site remains
at 313,786 s.f. Required parking is 1,520 spaces. Provided parking is 1,587 spaces, down from
1,614 required spaces.
The proposed tool center addition is designed to match the existing building. Customer
pick-up and drop-off will remain as exists in the front of the store. The rental center will be
accessed by customers from within the existing store. No signage changes are proposed.
Existing palms at the front of the store are proposed to be relocated to the Woolbright
Road frontage. This relocation will allow easier customer access to the store's entries and
provide additional screening of the building's roofline from Woolbright Road.

The master plan also notes the addition of a pick-up canopy at the rear of the store. The
addition ofthis canopy will allow for contractor pick-up away from the front ofthe store, thus
clearing some congestion from this area. The loss in parking is the several existing spaces where
the canopy is to be built. Two existing trees affected by the proposal are to be relocated across
the drive aisle to the buffer,
The addition ofthe Tool Rental Center and pick-up canopy will make the existing store
more convenient to customers and provide for safer and more clear access to the front of the
store.
