Dear Jim:
This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation
regarding the revisions in the exterior enclosure of the
above-referenced project.
The cost to use the Novatek system proved to be too
prohibitive, so we have revised the drawings to show metal
panels in lieu of the Novatek panels. We have retained the
white translucent plastic panels at the upper portion of
the wall.
If you should have additional questions, please do

SITE PLAN MODIFICATION - POLYDEX PHARMACEUTICALS
As a condition of site plan modification, the following comments
should be incorporated into the related documents by the appli-
cant:
1. Two handicapped parking stalls must be provided.
2. The striping for handicapped parking stalls must be four (4)
feet in width and painted blue.
3~ Handicap parking signs, in conformance with State Department
of Transportation standards, must be provided at each handi-
cap parking stall.
4. Dumpster enclosure details must be provided. A six (6) foot
high stuccoed concrete block wall is required on three (3)
sides of the dumpster.
5. Curbing must be provided around all landscaped areas adjacent
to parking stalls.
6. Provide dimensions for the parking area at the front of the
building.
7. A legend must be provided on the landscape plan indicating
height, spread and numbers for all proposed landscape materials.
8. All plans submitted for public record by a design professional,
registered in the State of Florida, must be signed and sealed.
9. A recent survey of the site is required.
10. All buildings must be accessible to the handicapped. Provide
spot elevations on the site plan indicating accessibility.
11. Buildings must comply with Table 400 of the Standard Build-
ing Code, 1985 edition, for allowable building areas.
12. Light poles must be designed, in accordance with Chapter 12
of the Standard Building Code, to withstand 120 miles per
hour windloads.
13. Chemical discharge into the sewage system must comply with the
limits expressed in the City codes.
The applicant's prompt compliance with the preceding comments
will insure a timely permitting process.

Staff Comments
With respect to the above, please be advised of the following:
1. A signed and sealed survey dated within six (6) months is
required.
2. Removal of the proposed mechanical room from the site plan
drawings should be reflected on the colored elevations.
3. An Environmental Review Permit is required for this use prior
to the issuance of an Occupational License.
4. A site lighting plan is required. The plan should show
the location of fixtures, typical pole detail, fixture detail,
and type of energy efficient lighting. photocell activation is
required. (see section entitled "Lighting" in the Engineering
Department Parking Lot Specifications of Article X, Parking
Lots) .
5. Future phasing or expansions will require additional
Environmental Review and may require subsequent site plan
modifications.
