The Palm Beach County Traffic Division has reviewed the two trip generation statements
submitted for the Melear PUD project. At this time we have the following comments;
1. One equivalency statement should be provided.. This statement must include specific
information on the type and size of uses originally approved (for all phases), what is
currently approved and what has been constructed to daW.
2. Palm Beach County records indicate that this site was originally approved for 30,000 sf
of Commercial. not 31,000 sf.
3. Daily trip generation must be based on the rates provided in Table 10.8 of the Palm
Beach County ULDC.
4. Peak Hour trip generation should be based on the lTE Trip Generation, a'h EditIon.
5. The equivalency statement must be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer
licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Based on this reuiew the Traffic Division has determmed thc;J.t this project does not meet the
Traffic Performance Standards of Palm Beach County and should not be approved until these

before the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy for more than two thirds of the units within that phase.
Should Continental choose to do so, it may complete the installation of such common area landscaping
prior to the two thirds being reached.
