Gentlemen:
On October 22, 1986, I inspected the site of the proposed building addition
(shown on the enclosed sketch) and reviewed the site drainage design and
calculations submitted with the plans for the existing buildings, and certify
as follows:
I. That the construction of the proposed building will not change the
amount of runoff from the site, since the proposed building addition
will replace a paved driveway, and will not increase the impervious
area of the s~e.
2. Calculated in a manner consistent with the original submittal, the amount
of retention (detention) will be increased by about 797 cu. ft., the area
of the building addition times I" detention depth on the roof.
3. Based on my intrepretation of "Flood Insurance Rate Map No. 120196 0005 C"
dated 9/30/82, for the City of Boynton Beach, the project is located in a
"Zone B" area, between an Elev. 12 Zona 7 area, and an Elev. 13 Zone 9 area.
Allowing for the approximate depth of flDoding of less than one foot fDr
"ZDne B" area, it is my opinion that the proposed building floor elevation,
being equal to the existing building floor elevations of approximately 15.91, will
be above the 100 year flood level.
