Dear Ms. Girtman:
In response to our discussion on July 1, 1996, when you inquired
about the status of the land use amendment/rezoning application
entitled Boynton Beach Community Development Corporation, please
be informed that the remaining elements of the process include
first reading of the ordinances on July 2, 1996 and final reading
of the ordinances on July 16, 1996. Once the ordinances are
approved on final reading, they become in effect 31 days later
(as long as no petitions challenging the amendment are filed with
the Florida Department of Community Affairs) _ If no petitions
are filed, the land use amendment and rezoning process will have
converted the property to the Office Commercial land use
classification and the C-1, Office/Professional zoning district.
I trust this information sufficiently addresses your inquiry.
However, if you should need additional information, please
contact Senior Planner Michael Rumpf at 375-6260.
Sincerely,
