Re: Boynton Shoppes
Dear Mr. Rumpf,
We hereby request that you handle, administratively, our request for a minor change
to our plan for the Boynton Shoppes retail building located at 1660 South Congress
Avenue at Woolbright.
Due to the City of Boynton Beach requirement that we separate the Quick Lube
building from the Tire Store, it was necessary to reconfigure the Retail building. That
building now has seven bays instead of eight. In order to arrange proper signage on the
face of the building for each tenant, it is necessary to change the double arch to a single
arch which would be the width of the center store.
To assist you, we have included copies of the facade/elevation drawings showing
existing and proposed configurations. Thank you for your cooperation.
Cordially,
J!kr;y~~

re: Facade of the Building and Handicap Parking
pages: 2, including cover sheet.
Dear Mr. Berson:
Regarding your two inqumes, please be advised that A) the relocation of the
handicapped space away from the building is not justified and non-compliant with
ADA requirements (see attached). Parallel movements along the building would be
acceptable; and B) the fac;ade modifications as described by the rendering qualify for
the administrative amendment process. Please submit a letter to me requesting that
this change be handled administratively as it represents changes qualified as "minor"
as stated in Chapter 4 of the Land Development Regulations. Describe in detail the
proposed changes and include copies of the facade/elevation drawings showing
existing and proposed configurations. Once I respond affirmatively to the request,
you may submit your revised plans to the Building Division.
As for a separate matter, I was told the awnings on the project were "red-tagged" due
to absence of this detail on the approved plans. If this detail is not on the plans, I
would agree to an administrative modification to add the awnings to the plans.
Please contact me if I can be of further assistance to you.
