Re: Minor~odification of Site Plan Boynton Commons (Jared Jeweler's)
MSPM 99-003
Dear Mr. Stuart:
This is to inform you that we have completed our administrative review of the proposed change to the
Boynton Commons Site Plan. This administrative review is specific to the Jared Jeweler's facility.
The Jared Jeweler's site was originally approved for an 8,000 square foot retail facility for (Video
Avenue). We have approved a 2,000 square foot reduction in the building's overall size to 6,000 square
feet. We have also approved the exterior fayade revision for the Jared Jeweler's facility. This project may
proceed to the permit application process.
1 look forward to the completion of the Jared Jeweler's facility. If you have any questions or comments,
please feel free to contact me at (561) 742-6261.
Sincerely,

Re: Jared's Jewelry Store
Boynton Commons Shopping Center
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
Pursuant to our meeting on May 14, 1999, I am pleased to submit this letter, requesting
an administrative review of the revised site plan and architectural renderings for the
proposed Jared's Jewelry store. We have attached the $100.00 administrative review
fee to this request.
The originally approved retail use for this parcel was a Video Avenue store with
approximately 8,000 square feet. The proposed Jared's Jewelry store will be 6,000
square feet, a 2,000 square foot reduction in retail area.
Since site improvements are complete, with the exception of the perimeter curb, we are
not proposing any modifications to the site improvements. However, the reduction in the
building will result in an overall increase to the landscaped area between the building
and the existing curb. Additionally, the revised building elevations were designed to
compliment the existing elements of the Boynton Commons Shopping Center. A
distinctive clock tower feature has been added which will further enhance the center's
design and balance the proposed building.
We look forward to the completion and approval of this administrative review request. If
I can be of further assistance please contact me at (561) 478-8501.

Re:
Jared's Jewelry Store
Boynton Commons Shopping Center
PLANNING AND
ZONING DEPT.
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
Please be advised that in place ofthe original proposed Video Ave store of 8,000 square feet, we
wish to substitute a 6,000 square foot Jared's Jewelry store, a division of Sterling Jewelers, Inc.
Enclosed is a site plan showing the jewelry store.
Also enclosed is a copy of the building permit that was issued for the video store. The site
improvements are completed, except the perimeter curb around the pad site. There will be no
modifications to the site work and the reduced building square footage within the curbed pad will
become increased landscape area.
Enclosed is the building elevation and floor plan of Video Ave and Jared's. You will note that
the design of the Jared's store is an upgrade from the Video Ave store; cost not including
finishes is double the Video Ave cost.
With regard to traffic, the jewelry store will have substantially less customers than the video
store and cause no additional traffic impact.
At this time, we are requesting an administrative revision to the plan, enabling us to submit
building plans for a building permit and approval of the building elevation.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
