We understand tbat due to industry wide: shortages of land~capc material many
nurseries do not have large material available since the material is being
purchased as fast as it is produced. We furlhcr understand that there are specific
landscape size requirements esta,lished by the City that are reflected on the
landscape plan that could not be met due 10 this industry situation. We approve
of the recommendations you and Mr. l-Iallarum negotiated and feel that thl:
additional shrubs should sattsfy the intent of the landscape design.

Dear Kevin;
Per our telephone conversation last week, the landscape contra~tor for this
project has informed us that he cannot locate (he 27 Florida Royal Palms at 8'-
10' gray\\-ood, straight, heavy frond & caliper, straight as specified on the current
landscape plan for the project. The following is the proposed substitution:
1) Substitute 18 Cocos nucifera 'Green Malayan' (Green Malayan Coconut)
at 7'-8' gray-wood, 24'.26 OAR, straight, heavy frond and caliper,
closely matching for the 18 Royal Palms to be planted at the project
entrance drives.
2) Substitute the 9 Royal Palms proposed along the front of the building to
9 Veitchia montgomery ana (Montgomery Palms) at 20' -24' O.A.H.,
double trunk, full, closely matching.
Attached is a reduction of the landscape plan indicating the areas where the
proposed landscape substitutions are being made. We have reviewed the total
number of native trees on the project and these substitutions ",ill not effect the
project meeting this 50% requirement and fcel the substitutions will still uphold
the intent of the original landscape design.

In order to reElOlve the encroachment and reduce a dangerous condition on my property
created by the construction ofBJ's. As we all Bgreed in the presence of Mr. LaPonta
(Inspector City of Boynton Beach). 8J's and~ were to have the hedges relocated
i.nterior of tile 8J's property and create a swale to retain runoff on BJ's site. As offered by
Mr. Blanchett, BJ's and Finelinc is to construct a new fence at the base of the bcim. not
more than one foot from and. p.,..allel to our property line. the new fence Is to ~ identical
to the fence along our south property line. . '_
Per our diSlCltSsions I have inspected the work done on Satl\t'day 1218. The hed~S were
4IC relocated satisfactorily. Howcvetthe swale created and associated berm must
