In response to your request for the administrative review and approval of modifications proposed to the
above-referenced, approved site plan, please be informed that the proposed changes regarding the parking
lot and building elevations as shO\';TI on the revised plans date stamped 10/27/00 are "minor" as defined
within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4-Site Plan Review.
This project may continue to be processed by the Building Division as a permit application. Be advised

MINOR MODIFICATION
Dear Mr. Rumpf:
This letter serves as request for a MINOR MODIFICATION to the above-
mentioned project. The Planning and Zoning Department is already aware that
we have taken over as the design/build contractor for this project. Consequently,
we have refined, enhanced and corrected the approved TRe plans. We didn't
change the scope of work, general site layout or building configuration, but we
had to made some adjustments to make the project buildable. All modifications
made are itemized as follows:

We slightly shifted the truckwell locations behind the building and
adjusted the grass areas and parking areas accordingly.
On the east parking strip across from the truckwells, we shifted
three (3) spaces directly north of the dumpster to the north end of
that strip for better truck maneuvering and greener area around the
dumpster enclosure.
We ensured that all parking spaces were dimensioned properly
(which they weren't), which caused some minor shifts on the west
side, in front of the new building. We actually gained some
pervious area, as can be seen by the larger landscape islands.
We revised some radii for easier maneuvering, such as the area
northeast of the northwest corner of the existing building.
Due to the various refinements mentioned above, the site ratios
have been adjusted, showing a little more pervious area.

1. We have 146 spaces shown, which is three (3) more than the
required 143 that were previously approved.

Building Revisions:
a. First and foremost, the building footprint, height, roof slope have not
changed.
b. We added a base band, horizontal accent reveal and two-tone light
gray color combination to the west and north elevations to enhance
the facility.
c. Since we are a U.S.A. Metal Building dealer, which is different from
the original contractor, our colors are slightly different than originally
proposed. Please see attached color board reflecting all of the
proposed colors for the building (wall panels, metal trim, stucco
paint colors).
d. The entrance canopies have been enlarged and the columns have
been eliminated (they originally fell within the sidewalk anyway).
We have added pilasters up against the building to enclose the
downspouts for the canopies.
e. The required fans and louvers for mechanical ventilation have been
added to the elevations, painted to match the wall panels,
This should address all modifications.
