The few parking spaces eliminated to provide space for the proposed lumber pick-up area would be more than offset by the addition
of22 spaces between the garden center and the future retail space and additional spaces at the rear of the building.

In addition to the minor changes made to the report for the Shoppes of Woolbright peD I suggest the following text to
specifically remind them of the previous amendment that they reviewed when the tool center was first added. Here it so
you don't have to retype it. Just cut and paste it from here
The 2,789 square foot tool rental center was specifically established in February, 1999, during processing of the most recent
amendment to the master plan. This addition to the Home Depot building used approved square footage that was shifted within the
PCD Additional changes processed at that time included the redesign of the main access isle that parallels the store front, and the
updating of the tabular data to reflect the loss of 6 spaces along the front of the building, and addition of 13 spaces previously added
along the rear of the building.
Just insert it before the Master Plan Modification Analysis heading Thanks Lusia.

Please find attached the revised Master Plan, dated 04/03/00 addressing the first review comments
and Landscape Plan for the proposed landscape alterations I have outlined below, how each
comment has been addressed
FIRE
1 Customer pick-up zones may not be placed in direct line of any egress.
2 Fire lanes will be required LDR 23-2
A note and graphics have been added to the Master Plan indicating that that no parking will
be permitted in front of each exit door
ENGINEERING DIVISION
3 0 the Master Plan, show the location of the 22 new parking spaces in the "Future Retail Area"
on the south side of the existing Expo Design Center
A revision cloud and note have been added to indicate the new parking spaces.
4 The total parking count shown on the Master Plan under "Site Data is 1637 The actual count
is 1635 Please correct this on the Master Plan
The correction has been made
5 On the Master Plan provide the dimension for the drive aisle located between the Expo
Design Center Future Retail and the Home Depot Garden Center
The dimension has been added.

6 Identify the delivery truck route on the Master plan The delivery truck route should not
conflict with traffic movement in the customer parking areas.

Dear Ms Galav,
Pursuant to our recent phone conversation I am sending you the enclosed Master Plan for your
review to determine the type of Master Plan approval that will be required This plan will
replace the one dated February 3, 2000 The square footage of all buildings remams as
previously approved The only modifications bemg requested at thiS time are
1) Locating the previously approved 2,093 s.f Tool Rental Center further north on the front
of the existing Home Depot.
2) Building a Canopy at the front of the existing Home Depot at the South end of the store in
lieu of the prevIously approved Canopy at the rear of the store
3) Constructing 22 new parking spaces on the South side of the Future Retail adjacent to the
Expo DesIgn Center Overall parking provided is increased from 1,621 spaces to 1,637
spaces.
