1 What type of tools wIll be rented?
Home Depot mtends to rent electrIc hand tools and eqUipment that IS gas powered,
such as pressure washers.
2. Will any eqUipment mamtenance or repaIr take place on sIte?
Yes. Home Depot mtends to make routme mamtenance and repaIrs to the
eqUipment wIthm an area desIgnated m the new tool center addItIOn.
3 How would storage of gasohne and 011 used to power thIS eqUipment affect the
well field?
I spoke With Al Nevoso, Palm Beach County ERM (Water Resources ProtectIOn
sectIOn) He confirmed that the property IS sItuated m Zone of Influence #4 He
went on to explam that there IS no speCial permIttmg reqUired for thIS type of
use/matenals, but that they would want a letter explammg the use/matenals for
the eXIstmg Home Depot permIt file

4 How does the pIck-up and drop-off functIOn?
Upon reVIeWIng thIS Issue WIth Home Depot representatIves, and In response to
the problem of lane blockage at the front of the store, we propose to modIfy the
master plan. ThIS modIficatIOn wIll add approximately 60 1.f. of customer loadIng
space to the eXIstIng loadIng area, proVIdIng an area specIfically for off-loadIng of
rental eqUIpment. I wIll need to reVIse the master plan to show a reductIOn of 6
eXIstIng parkIng spaces (see attached plan)

contractor loadIng wIll take place at the rear of the store under the proposed canopy, It IS
expected the front area of the store wIll functIOn more smoothly and safely

square footage (future retaIl s.f. reduced to account for tool center s.f. addItIOn) Home
Depot Intends the tool rental servIce to be anCIllary to theIr sales, meanIng that a customer
could purchase supphes and rent the eqUIpment to Install these supphes In one place.
4 The tool storage area WIll be enclosed and hghted In the same manner the garden center IS
secured.
